At DFGRUPO, we have taken a further step in our business evolution and have become a member of IFA, the International Fertilizer Association, which includes the main players in the world fertilizer sector.
More than 400 members from 70 countries
Founded in 1927, IFA is made up of more than 400 members from 70 countries and aims to promote the production, distribution and efficient and responsible use of plant nutrients.
A group of companies, including fertilizer producers, traders and distributors, that share goals related to sustainable practices.
To achieve its 2030 goals, IFA has a strategic approach based on:
- Communication and disclosure as an integral part of its operation.
- The importance of having quality data, which enables an objective analysis of the market.
- A clear commitment that will allow a push towards sustainable agriculture.
True to our commitment
In addition to the human factor, efficiency, commitment and adaptation, sustainability is one of DFGRUPO’s most important values, being one of the main axes around which the Group’s strategies revolve.
That is why, with our integration in IFA, we wish to continue our commitment to fertilisers with a low environmental impact, being faithful to the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN in 2015 and avoiding compromising economic well-being, quality of life and our future.
With this integration, DFGRUPO will decide, together with the other participants, the measures to be taken by the Association related to the current situation of our industry.
It will also be able to make use of the contacts of member companies, joining committees and steering groups, to exchange information and reach common positions.
In addition, it will have the strategic support of the IFA secretariat, which includes experts in sustainability, science, agronomy, innovation and strategic communication.
