Overall, 2022 has been a complicated year due to the aftermath of COVID on our economies, international supply difficulties, adverse weather conditions, war in Ukraine, price hikes, etc.
However, we are proud to say that 2022 has been, thanks to good planning, and the professionalism and commitment of our team, a successful year for DFGRUPO, proving once again that we are capable of meeting any objective we set ourselves.
We’ve had some very exciting times…
In 2022 we have been able to enjoy some exciting moments with our colleagues, such as in September,
at our 5th biannual Convention
, when we were able to get together again to share experiences and plans for the future, in what was one of the best moments of the year for us; or when we were all able to contribute
a large aid package for Ukraine
; or also, with our collaborators, such as when we saw the excellent work of Acobija in their work
to recover and conserve the population of Egyptian Vultures in the muladar Mesa-Piedra, which we sponsor
, or the invaluable role of integration carried out in an exemplary manner by the associations
AMIBIL
and
AMAFI
with which we also collaborate.
And we cannot fail to mention the feelings we had when we took part in the race against cancer “Tus Kilómetros nos dan Vida” (Your kilometres give us life) on 30 October in Seville.
… and with great professional satisfactions
On a professional level, we have also had great satisfaction.
Over and above the figures that amply demonstrate our good work, we have achieved milestones, such as the arrival of the ship Tomini Mistral at the port of Seville, with a cargo of more than 28,000 tonnes of granular urea for our Group.
One of the largest fertilizer ships unloaded in the aforementioned port, with the maximum tonnage it can carry.
We have set up the Group’s own laboratory and invested more than 2.5 million Euros in R&D+i projects dedicated to the development of fertilisers that improve crop quality.
We have created a Cybersecurity department, started the project for the Group’s first photovoltaic facility (which will save the equivalent of 20,873 trees planted) and we have started up a new liquid fertilizer factory.
Also, and above all, we were able to share with suppliers and customers multiple spaces for exchange in which we were able to enjoy those close relationships that make us better, and motivate us to be even more so.
A difficult year has come to an end, but it has been one in which we have been able to demonstrate DFGRUPO’s commitment, values and teamwork.
Hopefully 2023 will come full of optimism, opportunity and success for all.
