DF Grupo is a leader in fertilizer sales but is also a leading Group, inspired and transformed by its human capital.
Eight years ago, it decided to hold, biennially, its first internal Convention with its workforce, which comes from all over Spain and from Portugal, Angola and Morocco.
The Group held its fourth internal convention in Badajoz, on 3, 4 and 5 October 2019. The choice of the different sites where the DF Grupo conventions are held is directly linked with the companies that form it. The first of them took place in Madrid, where its central offices are; while Setúbal (Portugal) and Seville were the locations chosen to hold the second and third conventions, respectively.
All the sites are similar, in that the employees personally know the Group’s key facilities and production centres, which exude its atmosphere, connect with each other and strengthen the feeling of belonging to the company. On this occasion, the team had planned the visit to Fercoex, the Group’s biggest NPK plant, located in Talavera la Real (Badajoz).
In this fourth edition, a greater percentage of time was devoted to the motivational segment, and the organisation also focused on announcing the Group’s new products and its short-term plans. The main day, held on Friday 4 October, was particularly intense, as it was full of activities to help strengthen communication and networking between the members of the different companies.
The prestigious speaker and trainer Emilio Duró played a key role when it came to motivating DF Grupo employees, instilling in them his characteristic energy and optimism. Finally, just like any Convention, came the closing festivities, in an idyllic setting amidst the Extremadura meadows, where, as well as a number of open air activities, staff also enjoyed some of the region’s typical dishes.
DF Grupo strived to make the fourth Convention a memorable experience for its entire team. A few days aimed at living together, strengthening links and continuing to consolidate the company’s formidable human team.
